Re: Holley 3811 Carb 67 Vette 427/390HP Camaro L78 396
Jason..This is the same scenerio as when you pull apart a original 1969 375 hp motor..one side has a 840 and the other side a 291..both dated a week apart..they were a pair originally from the factory..but you cant restore the car with two different heads..the masses wont allow it..it boils down to what the build sheet says..in the case of the carb I have never seen a 67 camaro with a 585 cfm carb..just the 3910..there are mistakes on q-jets as well as holleys in the colvin book and holleys master catalog has some major mistakes...Mike.

Re: Holley 3811 Carb 67 Vette 427/390HP Camaro L78 396
Jason;
I'm not personally aware that a 3811 was ever used on a `67 L78 from the factory in any instance. I'm not saying it's 100% impossible, but I wouldn't bet $.01 on it even if I were rich. |

OK, crystal clear. It sounds like it is just a lowly 67 390HP vette carb then.
