I assume bumper guards were not standard, so I don't know where the sarcasm is coming from? Or am I missing something?

Then he pointed to the 71 71 code. ![]() [/ QUOTE ] simply following your lead was all my post was about ![]() all solid lifter Z28's (67-72) came standard with the "optional" rear bumper guards ... so did the stripes as you have already pointed out his trim tag did not indicate a stripe delete car, it merely pointed out the color of the car
