I looked through all the feedback, the buyer & seller never left any .... ?
My guess is that the buyer wanted to stay anonymous ...

Shortly after the car sold on e-bay, the original aluminum front end was apparently located...Does anyone know if the new owner was able to re-unite the body with the original front end?

The original aluminum doghouse location had been known for years. The story on
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=307326 says the price and condition were such that the new owner of the car felt it was more reasonable to have a whole new front clip fabricated rather than to mate the original front clip with the rest of the car.
