All my project time is being sucked up with wedding planning. Don't get me wrong, I love my fiance but can't wait to get this expensive one day party done.

Yep I will be busy. I really don't think the car is from NY the back half of the car is super clean. The vinyl top did a number on the roof and floors. Going to use the new one piece floor pan, full quarters outer wheel wells and a new dash panel. Since they don't make a roof skin yet for a 3rd gen nova I am going to be using a roof skin from another car.

We're hoping to have this car done by the early part of 011. The motor, trans., rear, frame and many components are done and waiting in boxes. The sheet metal work is almost done and we hope to have this car out of paint by mid December. Once we're out of paint, it should be a piece of cake!!!

Concur Micheal. Very nice car. You're doing a nice job of chronicling the originality of it too. My 05D '70 Nova fan clutch has the same date stamp "L 19 J". Would you mind keeping us posted on your progress (separate thread ) ? I love code 78 in 1970!
