Very, very cool. Hope we hear from the new owner if it's been sold.

Yes, this car is on one of the sheets. Someone pointed out that we did later figure out that a CG deuce was sold through Thorstad - these sheets are tough to make out. Hopefully the seller has a clean version of sheet 8!

Marlin
Am I wrong in assuming the VIN for this Deuce is 370721 & already been counted?
It's the only Thorstad CG on the list posted here.

Hopefully this car found a good home...the CL ad was a little weird considering the kind of car being offered. It would seem to me a seller wouldn't have to go to far to find real buyers for a Deuce.

This Deuce has been in the same small town forever, well known in the area one hour south of me. Rumored the car was for sale for some time. I looked at the deuce seven or eight years ago, if I remember right he was asking much more then.

Hi Mike,

Are you sure this is the same car you are thinking of?

I had talked about buying that car as well and you are right,he wanted alot more.

Non original motor and trans so that is why i think not the same car.

Looks like I got to this party a little late...where was the car actually located..ad states 3.5 hours North of Chicago, I live about 3 hours north of Chicago, not familiar with this Deuce but know of a couple others.
I would assume this wouldn't really be considered a "find" as the car got out at least once a year for shows as well a couple trips to the grocery store?

Citrus Green on a Deuce is where it's at.

There used to be a Citrus Green Yenko duece sitting in a driveway in a housing addition a couple of towns from my house when I was younger. Probably 1983-84. I never got to speak with the kid that owned it. His Mom would always answer the door. Always the same story... "It's my son's car and he'd never sell it." It disappeared years later. The funny thing is, up until a couple of years ago I always assumed it was Mist Green (code 45 in the Chevelle world) not knowing it wasn't one of the Yenko color choices. It was wearing it's original faded paint with the Black Yenko stripes. It must have been Citrus Green. There was also a Forrest Green Duece from down around Decatur, In. I used to deliver parts to the Body shop that painted it. I've heard it's a real car but can't confirm this. I've been told it's still in the area.
