Beautiful boss! Why does the Marti report say its white? Can you tell me what the difference is between a deluxe Marti report and an elite Marti report?

Thanks for sharing, Don. There is another Calypso Coral/Vermillion Blazer stripe optioned Boss 302 out here in Tacoma. Off the road since '85, but in dry, safe storage. Less than 20K miles if I recall correctly. Sorry no pics, I haven't seen the car in 10 years. I do know it needs to move this year, so I will try and update this thread if I can get my smartphone's camera lens on it!

Don, your car is really perfectly optioned for a '70 Boss 302. Most get restored like yours, but few were optioned that way originally (just like all '69 Z's get restored with cowl hood and spoilers, so it goes with '70 Boss 302's all getting Shakers and Sport Slats). The power steering is a great option to have, as manual steering Boss 302's are even harder to steer than Camaros of the era. Boss 302's with original motors, much less ones that have never been out, are a rare thing as well, since they were afflicted with those faulty pistons that were prone to cracking. Hopefully the skirts on yours are all intact

Interesting how its loaded up, but they didn't spec out Magnum 500's. Obviously the original purchasers had their eyes on some aftermarket mags.....

no Ford did not offer a 4 wheel disc JL8 type set up unfortunately.
This Boss has the interior Decor group. Vermillion Spectrum Cloth and Corinthian Vinyl Buckets Seats code CE on the door sticker. |
