Ken...according to the Nova Resource site...1970 was the last year for the fender louvers...

My February built 70 L78 had the original open air cleaner...I think John K.'s March 70 car has the open as well....might be interesting to run a little "survey" to gather info on this...or perhaps Greg Roberts has done that already [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif[/img] ***I have one of those Z28 style air cleaners..how can I tell if it is original or repop??? wilma..Birthday Boy [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif[/img]

That's what I was thinking on the post 70 cars. Couldn't recall if it was still standard in 71 or not.
My 70 L78 had the dual snorkle set up. but it was a pretty late car. I don't think it showed up until mid July of 70. I know it was after the 4th of July that year. I was beginning to think it would never show up. Had it ordered early spring.
