Any verifiable history on the car? That with out a doubt would be in your best interest. I remember back in the 80's & 90's how many were put together.

Best of luck in your search!

Tim

I will tell him hello, the car is phenomenal, real 435 car, here is the bad part, it had a color change during resto, but the resto was done very well, 7 years ago, and the paint and detail are great, his asking price is in the range for a 100% correct car, so there are some negotiations going on. Thanks for the input.

If this is an original motor, trans, tags, and body '67 435, look past the color change, negotiate the $15,00-$20,000 down for a paint job and bring her home!

Good luck!

An off (somewhat) topic question for the experts: What price swing does color make on an original car? I imagine a black/black or red/black would pull top buck, but then a green over whatever interior would pull how much less?

Just curious.

I would think 10%-15% on a much less desirable color.

It all depends on what was changed to what. Can you tell us the specifics? Green to red, black to blue? The difference is what the car started out as, not so much what the color is.

Original color was silver, now its red, very nicely done, no complaints with the paint work or restoration, it does have a CE block with documentation from when it changed.
