PHS can not document earlier than 1961 and some of the very early '61's can not be documented. My '61 Ventura is a late Nov car and they were able to document it

With all that said I never worried about the car being a real GTO, but when my father sent for the PHS documentation he received a letter back saying that 1964 GTO's built in Baltimore and Kansas can not be documented because they were under the direction of Chevrolet. I have read some crazy things on here about cars not being recognized even with TONS of documentation. We have no plans to sell the car and I know it is the real deal. Just want to hear any thoughts on this. Thanks </div></div>

Well we called PHS today and found out they do have records on the car, but are not complete. They can tell us we have a factory built GTO. They had some very unhappy customers as they put because there records were not complete. So the stopped filling requests for those two plants. We paid the money and are going to get what they have. That is why we have the records for the 64 Baltimore built convertible. They stopped sometime after we built that car.

We received the PHS paperwork for the car. A big thanks goes to Keith for his help decoding both our Baltimore cars. The only surprise we found was the car came with a tachometer, and how about an open rear, 3.23 standard gear. I will get a cowl tag pic of the white hardtop.
