Was that the norm? I know All the L-30's were cast.


Were there ever any Tonawanda L-79's, my L-30 was built there...

'68 L79's Used Forged pop up /Domed 11:1 TRW/GM Pistons, therefore a Steel Crank, 8" High Performance wide balancer with a drilled nose.
64 cc Heads, Hydraulic cam with Pressed in rocker studs
Passenger cars used the Log type exhaust manifolds , Corvettes the Ram manifolds.

If someone here buys this Engine I have an NOS GM Balancer for it. A 8" spec-hiperf non finned balancer which is nearly identical to a '67-'68 302,
Will sell this for $300 shipped
