Are there allot of one-offs on the 68 Camaro like the 68 Chevelle/Nova/Corvette?

I'm a sucker for the R/S option on any year Camaro but do like the "Wing windows" myself...seems that the 69 Camaro brings in the most $$$$$ but any 1st gen Camaro will do for me!

Theres no doubt 9's are the most popular. Followed by 7 then 8. Ive had all three and I love 7&8's the most because of the body style. But for me the 8 is my favorite and yes I am biased but its has the best of all 3 IMO. When I sit in either the blue 67 or the green 68 I feel like Im getting ready for take off in a fighter jet. I never felt that way in my old 9.

67 SS350 Camaro was my first car. I'll always be a 67 guy. I do agree that multi leaf is better than mono.

I apologize, I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers here, I was only referencing the DRIVING & HANDLING differences that the 67 had vs the "improved" 68 & 69 versions

As you can tell from my pic, I chose the vastly superior driving and handling 70 Z28 because of the way it DROVE, I STILL LOVE the LOOKS of the 1st gens.

I sold my one previous owner 69 edura bumper F41 RS 4 speed DY convertible when I got married in order to give my wife a garage spot & kept the 70 Z28.

Hind$ight $ay$ I $hould have kept the 69, but I didn't enjoy DRIVING of it as much as I did the 70 ... it all boils down to what each person enjoys from their vehicle.

Again, no malice intended, YMMV, IMHO, etc

One thing I know is an early vs late thing that the one piece side windows had "Astro ventilation" etched on them

Another was the V8 air cleaner for the factory air cars vs the non air cars having the snorkel pointed in a different direction

I was a 69 owner (over 75 of them) and only owned a half dozen 68's or so, so there may be more quirks I am not familiar with

Some changes: http://www.camaros.org/geninfo.shtml#MidyearChanges
It's nothing like the changes on 68 Vettes....
