67 4K Cowl Tag Real or Fake?

The 67 was a car a friend was looking at and I called into question the tag but good advice.

If this were a real L78 with matching motor and frame off restored would it be for sale @ $ 59k at a dealer? That should be the first red flag.

why not look at a car that's listed forsale here on <span style="font-style: italic">this</span> website vs that..
Its not a 67, but for the money you are looking to spend, and paperwork, it looks like a safer move.

Put some blue streak slicks on the back, a stinger hood, and its a cool day 2 car that would rival the red one we have been looking at recently the muscle car review cover [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img]

The vin of the car is body style 12437 but the body style on the trim tag is 12637.
That would be a big flag for me. That tag doesn't look good to me. FWIW.

No, they both end in 37 which is coupe. 4 vs 6 is for the custom interior which is unique only to the trim tag.

fake tag, but they are getting better and harder to spot without careful comparison to known real tags.
