They just didn't have enough sense to swap the LS5 trim tag and eliminate the stamp under the heater box before posting it up for sale everywhere. It’s great for parts, but good luck registering it. FYI, the block has been decked so only the partial VIN is faintly visible. The engine date & suffix are gone.

I’ve seen the trim tag, it is definitely an 08D build date with a very low body number.
