What on earth happened to the master cylinder? It looks like it was just pulled out of Lake Erie. I also remember seeing this car at Super Chevy Sunday at Indy many years ago.

Sorry, unless is was able to buy on the cheap, which is highly doubtful, I wouldn't care for it.
Like others said, "it's not a 4 sp", plain-jane no stripes, and being a low mile car, one probably wouldn't want to drive it much either. That's 3 strikes in my book, SORRY but that's just my thoughts. For the price that this would go for, I would rather have something else for that. SURE a LS6 rag top is cool and all, but this one is on the boring side.

Very cool car! I have known about this car most of my life as it was sold new in my hometown and the original owner was a family friend. Good to see it

Cmon, 185k? a real black 69 small block z28 with 10k miles would do more than that.

This is the one of the reasons I joined THIS site. To keep up with the market on high end real cars. I have been surprised both high and lower on cars pricing. TO ME, I wouldn't pay the $185,000 I lost more than that last week in the markets. That's fine if others think it's worth more. It only take 2 to drive the price up, I just know I wouldn't be one of that 2.

I know people PAY for what they like/want. A buddy of mine dropped LARGE for a '68 Hemi RR. WAY more than I thought it was worth. BEAUTIFUL car with an over-the-top rest. BUT B5 blue on blue with column auto to me, isn't worth what I would pay. He likes it, it's his money and I have no problem with that. I do think this market is shrinking. Some may agree or some may disagree. It's a free country. YES Unicorn's like the Bullitt car and some others like a '71 convert Hemi E body will always comand big big $$$. Now this Chevelle @ $185,000?? I wouldn't pay that myself as I would rather have something else for that much $$$. That's just my thoughts and opinion. This Chevelle doesn't appeal to me personally. That's fine, and just my thoughts. I would want to drive it, and that would drastically effect it's future value. Just not my cup of tea. John P.S. 427 Caprice UMMM. Must be lightened to only be 4800 with a 427!!!!!!!!!!! LOL All the best bud. Keep up the great work.
