We’re definitely not moving back to Joisey!
![]() ![]() Yes, it’s a move of preparedness for the current and eventual future turmoil that’s to become in my field of work inbound from two different angles; consolidation and hysteria. This time, however, I have have ample preparation time and won’t be caught blindsided. ![]() ![]() ![]() Dropping the block off Friday to get checked over! ![]() Cheers ![]() Dave |

What's wrong with Joysey???? Huh? (OK, a lot actually).
And to think I was gonna offer to trade you straight across for my estate up here. You never know what's behind garage doors number 1,2,3... Last edited by njsteve; 02-18-2021 at 01:29 PM. |

Thanks for the update, Dave. I'd sure like to have a '32 with a flathead in it, too.
This one looks like it has (modern) insert bearings, rather than babbit? K

My Dad builds Flat head V8's often - at least 6 a year if not more.
He has 4 or 5 flathead powered Fords, most of them with Mercury cranks - strokers ... he is building one of the Flathead V8 9N tractors currently. The 40 Woodie wagon has 25-30k miles on it since the restoration. The 3/4 ton step side is a stroker merc. The Big truck only had 4300 miles.

Few things sound as good as a truly pissed off Flathead.
