That’s a nice choice (looking back ) of the one bird to have owned- but funny you chose a model that didn’t sell well and wasn’t really well received at the time.
Was it a RAIII or RAIV ? Options ?

Did you own it back then or much later ?

They were referring to the cross section, not the circumference.

I don't remember much about it. I bought it in 1981. It was at the Pontiac dealer here in Tucson...on the back lot. It had been stripped. I gave 100.00 for it...Joe

^^ Could the marketing Firestone Guy be thinking of the Racing Oval Tracks,
just a random thought, we would need to look at some vintage ad prints , but I like your ironic thinking,,,,he he he

Something to note is how few have a rally wheel. Ratio of steel/ hub cap wheels to Rally is probably about right for the year…
