How many times have we seen cars like this with low rent dimwits living in shanty's claiming they're "gonna fix it up someday." Then it sits exposed to the elements for years and years until it's beyond repair and/or they die and it gets sold of for peanuts or scrapped. They like the attention and having something people want.
Dumb.

Or they have a vision a dream but not the motivation or finances to do it!

71 T/A sitting for decades on a dirt floor in a dilapidated building. Complete original drivetrain.

I don't have any pictures but there is a house about a mile from me that had quite an assortment of cars sitting around it. I have been living here for over 25 years and most of the cars were there when I moved here. Here is a list of the ones I can remember, 1958, 1963 split window and 1971 Corvettes, 1968 Grand Prix, two 1940 Ford Coupes and an early 70s Ford pickup. All those were here when I got to the area. In the last 10-12 years a 1956 Chevy and a 1955 Ford Crown Vic were added to the collection. Both of those were very nice cars when they showed up but they never moved again. The 58 and 63 Corvettes were both covered with blue tarps and were rotting away. The owner passed away several months ago. Not long after he passed the family sold all of the cars.

lot of these cars didnt just sit somewhere, they were flipped a lot.
Resto shop i worked at back in late 80s had a rotten 70 LS-6 ragtop that was found in a junkyard in NC.they put it on jackstands and the frame in the front started collapsing.owner sold it quick.
also had a Daytona that was burnt up.sold that one quick too.
The Bristol Speedway Superbird Ray Everham sold was at the shop around 1990.Poor car was a POS.everybody took turns beating the crap out of it at lunch.
when i saw it at Mecum being auctioned i just laughed.
