Don't shoot me but I would bet with the market being as it is,the many clones out there will look attractive now to some...I can see them getting a boost in stock.

Marlin,
My heart said buy the Z-16, but, my wallet said NO!!! I did not make any purchases. I love the auction but I think that the prices are way too high. Someone paid $21,000 for a 1967 Gold RS Camaro with a 2bbl 327. I think that the market has been doing too well and there is too much spendable income out there. I hope that the economy stays strong ,but, some of the prices are way too silly.

I think you are right because these great cars are out of reach, price wise, for the average person. Unless you can find a sleeper somewhere. A clone car is an option but just not a good one, in my opinion.

Not the best option but...when you go to a cruise night there is very little chance of seeing a real one pull up with the kids piled in. I personally have a clone car and it's the most fun you can have with your pants on !!! My real stuff can't come out and get ice cream on the seats and heaven forbid the tires should get dirty !!! As long as you tell the truth when people inquire I think it's o.k.
