What a fun weekend. Thank you Tom, Mo, and the boys and all the other organizers. Just got home, its raining here, glad it was not at the track, as my "rent a racer" needed some action. This was the best event so far, and thank you Matt for that special ride!

Just got the 2 trucks and 2 trailers home with the cars "SAFE & Sound" about 2 hours ago. AGAIN, it was Great to see ALL the cars and Friends, made a New Friend all the way from Sweden!! The Best was being there with "MY SON" and to see him Race down the track and had a 509 light with the SS Truck. When he raced the NOVA and at the end of the truck when we saw the Cloud of smoke I almost had a "heart attack", nothing turned out to be wrong so it maybe was just carbon?? Oh yea really lucked out by having my "Friend" Sheriff Officer when I got stopped going 85 mph on the way to the Drag Strip and only got a Friendly Warning!! Great time and Great NOVA turn out and ALL the Nova guys were really friendly and I think they have accepted me into their group. THANK-YOU All.
Mark

I wouldn't object to a 3 day long Reunion in the Future...

[/ QUOTE ]

I really do think that we can call the Thursday night meet and greet an official day of the show.

When Tom and I pulled into the parking lot I told him then that this was going to be the best show ever. bkhpah and crew had things well in hand for the 1st night of the show.
There was already a very impressive display of cars lining both sides of the parking lot. And lots of happy smiling faces.

Then day 2...and wow what can you say. We had burnouts that could satisify even the biggest dragrace junky. Mix that with 110 octane fuel, big blocks on poly-glass tires, small blocks without rev limiters, friends helping friends and new faces taking some very beautiful cars down the track and it doesn't get much better than that.

And last but not least day 3. The best and easiest move in we have had so far. I don't know the head count of people in the convention center for saturday but I know it was a record. With special guests and car owners answering questions all day long it was great.

I personally want to say that any time I needed help with anything there was always someone willing to help or offer thanks for the things being done.

I think I will wait until Tuesday to ask Tom what we need to do for SCR8 I need some rest.

Mark, you gotta blow the bugs out of them Orange cars once in awhile It was great seeing you again and talking with you at the drags.. btw, I finally got that copy of MuscleCar Enthusiast with your 68 B/M on the cover. I missed it on the newsstands because my subscription renewal somehow skipped over that issue I still remember riding in it to the spot that pic was taken like it just happened yesterday Can't wait for SCR8 now!!

I'll second that Mark!...I'd bet that was the biggest gathering of Deuces in one place ever, including dealer lots in 1970! Truly an amazing experience, and one I was glad to be a part of!

I am sitting here in Chicago thinking of what I experienced this weekend, WOW ! The cars were faboulus, but you guys were even better ! I want to say thank`s all of you, and especially to Mark and his guys for taking good care of me.

Today I`ll meet Tom Migut, a Nickey employe in 66-67. He said I might get to see another COPO this evening.

Take care all of you,
and I hope to be there next year.

Anders

I want to say THANKS to TOM ROB and MO and everybody that helped on this years Reunion. I had a great time as always. I wished I hadn't broke the driveshaft in the Damm trailer. I do want to thank everybody that helped push. Kim
