My brother had his car stolen once from some maniac that was harassing our family, years ago, and the moron pushed it into the river.

The police found it and told him he's lucky they didn't decide to charge him an environment cleanup fee due to the pollutants from the oil, gas and brake fluid, etc. that got into the river.

They were serious, too. Imagine how bad it might be for a junk yard cleanup where you have more than a few cups of the fluids. I wouldn't even want to think about it, but I don't think this lot is worth $2M even if that wasn't a concern.

In my opinion, this is yet another story of someone that has something that they think they can pawn off for far more than it's worth, because of the wonders of the Internet. Got to love eBay.
