Mosport Take a look here. We have been tracking these striped SS cars for a while. While the jury may still be out on this topic- I am less skeptical these days.

I have been kinda living "off the grid" for the last 6 months or so (no address, no phone number, no internet) every thing I own is in three storage buildings and a garage...including my scanner. The only time I get to check this site is at work. I am hoping be back to a normal life in May, I will post some pictures as soon as I can. By the way, my 72 SS had stripes when I bought it in 1978 although I did not think they were original.

That sounds like the Classic Copper Z28 that has been popping up around the Flemington NJ, Lehigh PA and now NY area. Sounds like a cool car.
