MR70 is correct on the buildsheet. I have 20+ buildsheets from that plant in 1970 and none of them spell out "upper" and "lower". Also the fonts are totally wrong for just about all of the letters, they look to be done with an IBM Selectric typewriter.

Sure.
Understand I am not bashing this Vehicle at all,as it looks very nice, and the few items I just happened to notice to be incorrect are from what I have observed in the past & can all be easily changed within a day or two: ------------------- *Has a 4 core radiator top, should be a 3 core. *Radiator cap should be an AC large ear RC-15. *Emission Label should be to the right on Top Plate. *Steering box shouldn't be painted. *Alternator Fan should be natural. *Alternator Pulley is gold GM replacement. *Alternator Top Bkt. is 1969 Vintage. *Early built car, should have battery ground cable at the Head. *Has a Battery topper. *Spark Plug Heat shields were not Assembly line installed. *Hood Hinges Should not be painted Black. *Should not have Plastic Cowl grilles from the assembly line. *Should have a black Air cleaner top,not chrome. *Has GM replacement Heater hose, should be ribbed and plain. *After market Exhaust system. *Should have Flat reverse Tail light lenses, not bubble top. It's nice to see it has the scarce Under headlight Aluminum Moulding trim pieces,as Only the early built cars received these, and they added the Optional NK1 three spoke cushioned grip steering wheel, according to the Homemade buildsheet. |

...and they added the Optional NK3 3-spoke steering wheel [/ QUOTE ] It might just be the pics, but it looks like it's a colored Buick wheel dyed black. Looks like some red showing through to me. Also...they forgot to put the little medalions on the new door panels, and they look to be placed maybe a bit high on the seats themselves. Certainly is a good looking car though. You can't go wrong with a Cranberry '70, and a 4 speed never hurts either. |

This is the reply I got form the seller.
"HERE ARE PICTURES OF THE PROTECTO PLATE. I HAVE A COMPUTER PERSON THAT DOES MY EBAY LISTINFS FOR ME. THE BUILDSHEET IS A REPLICA. HE LOOKED AT IT THINKING IT WAS THE ACTUAL ONE, NOT KNOWING THE DIFFERANCE FROM AN ORIGINAL AND A REPLICA. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED ANYTHING ELSE. THANKS. JIM" |
