Great to hear that you are bringing the COPO home Albert. It must feel really good. I know what you mean about migrain headaches. I don't have 4 a week, but 1 or 2 a week is enough. The only thing that really works for me is Advil, but it takes a while to do its thing. What do you use?

Don't mean to make this the migrain headache thread, but if you get them, go to your doctor and get Relpax. I think it's still only available in sample form. It'll wipe a migrain clear in 10 min flat.. The only other thing that works wonders quickly is Imitrex in injection form. Those two are awesome.

Albert, what your experiencing is called cluster migraine head aches. It is one big migraine that continues to bother you. Take pain killers (Tylenol, Advil, IB Profin) to break its cycle.

You guys get migraines too? I suffer from terrible migraines but with the help from my doctor, we have constructed a plan to stop them (almost for good). A migraine is caused from a loss of blood flow into the brain most likely from the two blood vessel on the right and left side of the head (in front of the ears, near the temples). These headaches can be triggered by physical exertion, the foods you eat, stress, etc. The first body part to be affected by the loss of blood flow are the eyes. This is why so many people, myself included, get vision interruptions called auras, or spots in front of ours eyes when we get migraines. I see a neurologist, I have been for many, many years. The first thing he asked me when I stepped foot in his office is what have I have been eating. He then told me that chemicals in many foods cause migraines. Subsequently, I DO NOT EAT cheese, bananas, nuts, caffeine, chocolate, Chinese food with MSG, cold-cuts with nitrates, smoked meats and fish or any heavily, deep fried foods. I also am very sensitive to cologne and perfume fragrances. I have been using the same cologne and aftershave for ages. I also have made it a habit to work out and exercise on a regular basis. I have prescription meds I take at the onset of headache and often nausea and vomiting occurs. When I do get a head ache, I close my door, shut off the lights and put my head down and rest. Like any health ailment, for each person he experiences a different antidote of the issue. But with migraines, it is most likely very similar. See a good doctor and ask his help. I never took these seriously until my mother lost partial vision in her left eye from a migraine with a vision interruption that lasted 8 days. This was in the early '90s. Doctors thought she had a stroke but all tests came back perfect. She saw her neurologist and he said it was a migraine. I thought I was alone in this! Good luck!

Now.... Go get that COPO Painted!

My wife uses the Imitrex but it is not injection. It is a one time use nasal spray. Great relief for her.
