Regarding paper work!!! I have the original car invoice, delivery service and adjustment check sheet, original payment reciept, second owners title, car shipper invoice, protect-o-plate, creditials folder, consumer information brochure, and two build sheet which one has all major information typed in boxes 1-8 and the other one was found on passenger door panel. The original owner still has the window sticker and I stay in contact with him. So very well documented!!!!!!!!!!!

I was looking at Bruce Larson's 1968 Camaro F/C at the first York reunion and noticed that he has a original LS-6 motor with vin# stamped on block in his funny car. He said he got it from Sutcliff Chevrolet when he was working for them!!!
Any LS-6 Chevelle's from Sutcliff out there missing there motor???? |

The Guy I bought my Original Engine for the El-Camino from, his Brother has a 33,000 Mile Black on Black LS-6 Coupe. He has had it since 71. Black on Black, no Stripes, No Cowl-Induction and Original Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner. Was sold at Same Dealership as my El-Camino, about 6-weeks later. LS-6 M-22 4.10s.

[ QUOTE ] Production of LS6 Chevelles is still ongoing isn't it ? [/ QUOTE ] ![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah, I heard there are 600 Illegal Aliens building them in a garage in Suburban Chicago! They're callin' them Tribute Cars. Supposedly, their ringleader is a guy with a cheezy moustache they call "Little Hitler"! ![]() ![]() ![]() [/ QUOTE ] And they'd sell every one of them--at a profit. ![]() |

-------1st LS6 I ever saw was a triple black (white stripes) at a dealership in Virginia. It was in for some minor warrantee work I think. Owner had already added 454 numbers to the rear rubber bumper under the SS. For awhile until I saw a few more I thought that the numbers were original equipment. Who knew??? I stopped there in my ba-rand new 1200 mile LT1 Vette as it had cooked the battery with the new (to me and faulty) style alternator on the way from Mass to Fla........Bill S
