Default 1969 power brake metering valve location

Is the power brake metering valve on a 1969 COPO camaro supposed to be located below the power brake booster, next to the distribution block (same configuration as my 1967 Z28) or on the sub-frame in the rear brake line? The assembly manual is nt real clear on this and I understand that the Z28, SS and COPOs had the block located differently than the regular power brake cars.
