'65 is my favorite 442. Mine would have two-bar spinner wire wheel covers like this one:

What a sweet piece!. Nicely done and thanks for sharing it w/ us!.
I absolutely love the painted steelies and dog caps...only missing a B-pillar to match one of my personal favourites!.
Really great how you've laid the bare facts on us of what you had to deal with too!.

Thanks guys. I am real anxious to drive it. Only seat time Ive had was to the alignment shop and back, about 10 miles. I guess the good thing is its ready for springtime (knock on wood).

'65's are by far my favorite of the 442's and yours looks great. That red paint looks like it really laid down nice on the car. Still looks wet!

a beautiful ride
I rode in one 30 or so years ago, as I recall it was quite the screamer and put a hurting on my 65 Impala.

I know the photos arent the greatest. I didnt have an opprotunity to get it out somewhere and get some good shots. I took those park pics on the way home from the muffler shop.

I am taking it to the Detroit Autorama in March so I should be able to get some better photos of it then.
