My experience is Joel charges the same amount ($1,500) for a yes or no. Best to be pretty sure you'll get a yes before sending in the bucks. I understand the seller has some history on this site.

I've documented 4 cars over the years and it's always been the same price. I have nothing but good things to say about Joel from my own personal experience. He has been very helpful and generous with his time. It's great to hear some of his stories about the glory days of Motion Performance directly from the man himself.

For $5K he better give the car a yes even if its an 87 Toyota! I don't care who he is thats highway robbery!

I bought a camaro that he was paid $1,500 to document. Turns out it was a "day 2" car that was originally bought at Baldwin. I have tried on numerous ocassions to "buy" a copy of that report, only to get blown off.

seems to me that a report like that should go with the car... it really seems odd that he would not sell it to you...
