I can't wait to see that thing in person! The survivor cars seem like an old friend that hasn't changed. I can only imagine what it would have been like to be in the factory the day these cars were built. Beautiful color too! Can I bribe you with some Kakes for a ride???

Then I can spend time cleanin it! Donnie, I put the original California plate on the front with the stickers for 1969 looks good. Since the pictures, I located the original shifter for the car and in the process of having the guy send it to me now. Like pulling teeth but hopefully I will get it shortly. It was placed in the Hurst box when the Hurst was inatalled some time in January of 1969. Don White got me into these survivor cars and man its like Heaven, well........ almost! I just appreciate this original true survivor stuff more and more. If these cars only could talk. |
