I am now motivated to finish the old SRD car for 2014,or at least get it as close as possible. I keep forgetting I have a piece of history now.

We had just pulled out of the Corvette & MuscleCar Nationals last night, as we were vending there. We were first in line at the stoplight (red) and watching some cars that had pulled out via a different door, as they were in the cross traffic. Then low and behold, the Sox & Martin Pro Stock Duster (was in the show) was in the turn lane - and then turned - driving right in front of us - to head toward the trailer I assume. In all it's noisy-ness (is that a word?) anyway, way way cool. Pitch black out other than a few street lights, and the roar of the open exhaust Hemi Red-White-Blue Sox & Martin car. I'll picture it in my mind forever! WAY COOL end to a great weekend...

Thanks to all that brought cars and participated in the show, it was a treat to view. I wish I was there for the "removal" of the vehicles. WOW.......

Dear Bob, (AKA BASHTON)lol
Now that things have settled from the show, I want to thank you, your wife and the many hundreds of people that helped you put another GREAT show together. Sorry this note is coming in a month late. Both myself & a friend of mine from Montana wore out our shoes there, in fact it practically crippled him and he's half my age. Again thanks for the extremely hard work. Anyway Merry Christmas and hope to see you next year. Dicky

Bob
Given the fact that the Muscle car is credited with being born in 64 ( great debate here)I am sure the 50th anniversary will bring great things to MCACN. I am curious though how the class of 74 will celebrate the Catalytic Converter and 85 MPH speedometer. Paul

Hopefully Pontiac will be well-represented, for obvious reasons. I see a string of high-quality GTOs from 64-74...and as many 74 SD T/As as the place will hold.

Indeed, we will be hosting a special gathering of GTO's in recognition of this significant car and anniversary. I have several VERY fine examples lined up already, along with some special guests. Again, this group will be created for quality, not quantity, so if you have a significant example of a 1964-1974 GTO and would like to join us, please get a hold of me asap. It is not too early...planning for the 2014 show is already well underway.
As for '74, although we welcome prime examples of muscle from the 1974 model year, (think G.S. Stage 1, Super Duty etc), we are not planning on a "Class of '74" special display. We are, however...planning on stepping back to the year 1969 to celebrate what is obviously a much better year, Muscle Car wise. I'm sure the show will be great, Bob. 1969 was certainly a good year for Muscle Cars.
