Yea, I've had several guys suggest traction bars. I'm was trying to stick to a fairly simple factory look, but I wouldn't rule out another mod. We have a long cold winter right around the corner, and I'm not good at sitting around.......

Paul, I was wondering if you know where I can get the tow tab shear pins, I guess they'd be called, that would hold the tow bar to the tabs?

Nova Jed is probably your best bet. The Bethlehem Steel pins which were the most commont original set-up are NLA

Traction bars would go along with tow tabs I would think. They would probably have come first just to control wheel hop.

You're right Sam. I'm not crazy about how they look, hanging down as much as they do. But it's certainly a possibility.

Bill...I would suggest trying the &quot;Harrell Style&quot; spring clamps...basically 2 pieces of flat steel stock that fits over the springs to stop wheel hop. Sully has a set on his car...they work pretty good...others here will most likely have pics and info. Simple..cheap..and they don't hang down [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/[/img]
