What great history & detective work. Was it ever determined how exactly it got the non-reverse light tail lenses? [/ QUOTE ]the jury is still out on the tail lights. The detective work was easy as the Most people involved in the Car's History were still aware of each other's whereabout's. and when you have a car that stays in a 50 Mile radius it's entire life, that also made things easier to track down. when the Car was Made in 1969, it was just a Car. today, it has History! Personality and Charisma!! knowing all these things made me bond with a Car like I never have before. My Next mission in life is a One owner, 1969 Mach1 that I was great friends with the Original Owner. He passed away at the age of 86 and the Car is now mine. That Car and I are just starting the Bonding process!

Re: September '05 Feature Car
Awesome!!!! Very Wicked Ride. I really love the detailed history. A cars unique history is just as important to me as the car itself. Love the O'school show sign.

Re: September '05 Feature Car
Awesome story.....I am from the Bucks County area and know all those places mentioned very well. I even had the pleasure of dealing with Chuck at Reedmans for years while I was installing car alarms for him all thru the late 80's and 90's. He has quite a passion for the muscle cars from some of the stories he used to tell me. Good luck with that car. It is one sweet piece......

Re: September '05 Feature Car
wonder if the on/off switch is still behind the pass seat(floor)...
I remember the day i almost drove thru that copo.. the brakes went on my truck,(brake line broke), my truck trailer & my camaro. John D was in front(copo on trailer), stopped fast. I started to slow dowm , brakes failed. i ended up next to him on the shoulder of the road. using the brake box to stop. we were coming back from one of the pocono camaro shows. Hooper was there also. |
