You could only get one or the other. Fender emblems - No stripes Stripes - No fender emblems Stripes were optional. Still a very nice car

Those "emblems" on the fender actually look like a decal that could've been put on the tail pan of a non stripe car. Take a close look, they look flat to me. Maybe my eyes are playing games??

You know, I think you are right, they are decals.

Yes I thought they were decals as well because they had no depth to them. The spoiler Z28 switched to a decal in 72ish which is what is on the fenders

Opinions please, is an original car like this worth more, less or the same as a restored example?

I really like the underappreciated '74's. Other than the vinyl top and AC it's how I would have ordered one new. Highly doubt there's another out there in this color combo.

1974 Z-28 still had a strong 350 with all the good internals, forged crank, rods, pistons, 4 bolt mains. The cam, intake and carb were the killers but it was a strong runner for that smog engine time. I bought a new 78 Z-28 4 Speed back in the day with 3.73 gears posi trac, but the smog engine was nothing special. Wished i would of bought the 3, 69 Z-28 Camaros i looked at back in the 70s. Very nice Z-28 for sure here.
