A 70 red shaker hood Boss 302 sold for about 91K last year at BJ. Current world record for a Boss 302 is 130K for a 1969. However an owner was offered 200K in a private transaction for what is considered the best 70 in the world last week and turned it down.

In know all the parties in the two private transactions and my information is 100% reliable for the skeptics in the crowd.

I'm glad someone from here got that car. I was wondering why they did not mention the L78 option. I thought it was the buy of the night. Anyway...congrats!!

Why watch it if you truly feel that way. To me it is an exciting event that has something for everyone. It also is a good barometer for what the market will bring this year.

going to be bad, but you just have to watch.....

That was a good buy. I though the same thing too. Congrats on getting a nice car.

Does it have a POP? I saw on the BJ add it says it has docs but does not go into a lot of detail.

Was that car on here a few months back with SamLBinj(I think it was) who snapped it up very quickly and then found a "new home" for it almost as quickly?

Anyone wonder why the '68 Z on Wednesday brought less than the color-change '69 Z on Tuesday?
