I beleive the car has mid 10 potential, but as you mentioned before the fuel line will need to be upgraded and that fast without a cage can cause a lot of flex in the car. On second thought I'm not sure I wanna wish that on ol' Benny.

The tracks probably won't let him run that fast without a cage.

Better get the spray guns and black paint ready for the roll cage!

I'm assuming you guys mean a "bar" and not a full blown "cage", which only comes into play at 9.99/135?

Also, what size is the fuel line? Granted, he's running a pair of carbs, but their are cars in the FAST class running 10s/130+ with "stock" fuel line, and the Hemis are doing it with multiple carbs...? Has the car shown any fuel issues so far??

Yeah, Plowman corrected me on the bar vs cage thing. I meant a bar would be nice.

Thanks for posting about this Rob. I trust you know how to overcome some of the limitations people can experience with 3/8th fuel line. I'm very open to any comments your suggestions you have.

I don't know much about FAST, but do they use electric fuel pumps in discrete locations? Benny has an Edelbrock electric pump right now. I beleive they were going to increase the fuel pressure to around 9 or 10 psi. If they see the fuel pressure dropping during a pass, I guess they will adjust the pressure up around 13 psi?

I'm not sure if anyone knows what fuel pressure was looking like during a pass, so I don't want to speculate too much, but I am loking forward to thoughts on building a 10 second fuel system with 3/8th line!

Gee maybe we should've left the roll cage in.
