Sam,
When I first saw Jacquie's car, it brought back memories of your beauty. Isn't it funny, but when I first saw my car on the Reedman's lot in '68, I thought the red interior was just NOT manly at all. But I was still in love with the car. I figured I'd have to take some abuse from the other car guys for such a "sissy" interior. Boy, looking back on it now, I can say it certainly DID grow on me. Now, I couldn't imagine the car with a black interior (as I originally thought it should have). It just seems "Right" the way it is. It's just the 'all time' combination. Now if you really want to get your heart pounding, just imagine those 3 unrestored cars in the same parking lot, or going through the gears together downtown. ![]() ![]() ![]() Verne ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Black/red cars are surely sweet...I'd prefer to have a more unmolested engine bay on a "top shelf" survivor, but a GREAT find nonetheless, nothing a few months of tracking down OE parts couldnt' handle...My boss would have bought it in a heartbeat if he had caught wind of it...
