I like the rear, but I like the rear of the new Corvette, too. Most hate the rear of the new Corvette.

The new Vette, IMO, only looks good in dark colors that hide all of those black parts. Man, they need to get all (or most at least) body color, ASAP.

Give it twenty years. Once all the Gen-Xers start to retire, I'm sure someone at Ford will have the same idea.

The more I look at this thing, the more I like it. This might be the first new Mustang I would seriously consider owning in a long time.

I saw the car yesterday. In some respects, I am disappointed that Ford played it safe when there were suggestions that Ford was getting away from the retro thing.

On the other hand, it still looks like a Mustang, and I'm digging the rear end. Certainly its interior and driving dynamics will be up a few notches from past Mustangs.

And, best of all, if the bar is raised, we have some cool Camaros and Corvettes to look forward to.

The new one looks best in black, needs more nose slope also tipped quarters and tail end to lose the old Celica GT look.
The concept below was waaay cooler!

I'd agree that it's a cool "something," just not a cool Mustang......

I dunno. Beyond the long hood, short trunk constraint, what is a Mustang supposed to look like? I think it looks fine, and I'm cool with the turbo-4 option. The traditionalist in me would never be okay with a front-drive Mustang, but I could be persuaded to live with an AWD version, if the time for that came. The Mustang has always been adaptable and has managed to stay alive by changing to meet the present circumstances. You can't keep building the same car for 50 years...
