Couple of guys in Moscow, PA were running this car - sold new as a converted 427 car from Stauffer Chev in Scranton, PA. Car is now in Kevin Suydam's collection.

I had plenty of rides with slots because they were sooo cool and pretty affordable back then. But after you burned off the rear tires, it was easier to change to the next set of wheels that still had good rubber on them.
Here's my old Nova from back in the '70's. I called it the Armorall Special. You absolutely had to wear seat belts because I used so much of the stuff on the interior you would slide all over the bench seat while shifting gears. My old '68 Firebird was quite the project....
