Frank is correct. I asked Mr ED are you positive about the white stripes and he said absolutley. I also asked the owner from Fla. about it. He said white. He had 'nt ever seen one with blk stripes. The jury is still out on mine, but I think it had blk. Some day I still have to find that original owner. Schonye

Original owner eh? GOOOOOOooooood luck. They are somekind of hard to find.

I would have thought that someone somewhere would know who bought the 1st '69 BM GT vette that is featured on the cover of Cars magazine back in Aug of 69? But so far, not one person has any knowledge about any previous owners of that car. If I had owned a car that had been on the cover of a Hot rod magazine back then I would think someone would know who or where the car went at some time in the past?

I am positive that I now have that same car but so far all I can turn up are dead ends on it. So far nobody knows anything except Joel and he wants money to just look for the records. I would like to be able to provide him with names and places that prove it with out a doubt.

I want to wish you all the luck in the world on finding the original owner of your car. I know what frustration you are up for in finding them. I have been at it on my car all last winter since SCR6.

You guys are right, my bad. I had forgotten about your conversations with Mr.Ed. That makes 2 body colors confirmed with both stripe colors, Citrus Green and Cran Red.
