Thats a pretty good read and Idea. Most people are scared to death to sign anything due to putting their name on some IRS auditers list...Time for the people to wake up change it or soon our government will suck us up so dry we will look like 3 week old grapes...

Good point about all of the people it would put out of work. Kind of like the guys who make a living out of a cause (naacp, televangelists, etc etc). They have a vested interest keeping the status quo. I really cannot complain, I have a great company, and make great money in spite of the IRS issues. A flat consumption tax sure would be nice, but I think we would have to have a boston tea party type situation before it would ever materialize, hold on......., Someone's at the door.......

Just wait until April 15th, when all of the returns from the area where Katrina hit don't come in. Since there are God knows how many people still missing, and so many that were displaced, the IRS is going to have a Katrina sized headache. Think of all the people who filed last year, but won't be able to file this year, or have been out of work since the storm hit. Half a million missing 1040's is a lot of lost revenue, and just try to figure out who is cheating.
Good luck. Bad Karma is coming back to the IRS. NO style.
Rich, did you hire an old lady to stick pins in a doll?
