Pretty creative piece of work since there's a slight body curve in that area and the back vents weren't open.

What is the purpose of reversed vents? Seems stupid to me, and a predecessor to all the tacked-on rice bullsh1t that is currently out there.

Because they looked cool and they set the Motion Vettes apart from others.. and they were functional.
