Bill is right in the ball park 5 grand it would have to be clean and with out any rust These cars were known to rust look realy good on the top of the fender above the head lights It must be a plaza or a savoy as it has a flat head six belveders all came with v8s amd more chrome trim on the sides a 2 door belevder is worth more money the flat head also came with a 2 speed power flite still is a neat car

yep that’s the one I was all over that thing and got under it and it was put together good notice the master cylinder how it was moved to clear the headers it looks like an early dodge van set up
I really want to take that one home was not to crazy about the color but still wanted it |

You are not going to belive this I know I cant But the belveder form Tusa is beening derusted here is a picture of the right front fender I still think this thing is toast but by the looks of it they are trying to bring it back

It's no scam. If you check out my thread on the 72 T/A you will see how good this stuff actually is. It is downright amazing how it removes rust without touching anything else.

steve I understand but as I have been reading they hope is to derust Miss Belveder and get it runing and back to the road I dont think that engine will ever turn over and think they are wasteing peoples money trying to bring it back from the dead I really do not think this car will ever come back but I might be worng this is going to get ineresting if it happens

Getting it running is a totally different thing. I will say that those two emissions solenoids that I had were rusted solid inside and were shorted out. After I soaked them in the stuff for a few days, they freed up and worked like new. That was amazing. I would agree that trying to get a V8 running without disassembling it is a futile concept since all the gaskets will be gone. The major mechanical assemblies would have to be dissassembled and the parts soaked again and then reassembled.
I think heir goal is to stabilize/preserve the condition of the car, not to make it a complete running and driving car again. |
