Thank you all for the birthday wishes. The neighbor girls 3 houses down have taken great delight in decorating my yard ever since they were old enough to do it. I have promised them that on their wedding day, that as they are walking down the isle,that I will send a small child of an uncertain pedigree racing down the isle yelling mommy, mommy.
To my GOP friends, thank you for your concern for my political soul.I have been heartened by the apparent nominee, Mr. McCain. Anyone who is hated by Rush Slimbaugh, and the NRA, can't be all bad.If he could get Colin Powell as a VP candidate, he could be hard to beat.
Any way, Tom, tell Karen to tell Hil to hang in there. Since she reveled that her gramps taught her how to shoot, maybe she could take Charlton Heston's place if she don't win the white house.
