Here's a vote to keep the steelies and the dog dish caps.

(not that I'm partial to that look or anything... )

[/ QUOTE ]NAH! NOBODY ever had that set up in those days! Looks cool now but if you ran them back then they would not let you enter any Burger King or Hot Shops parking lots. Besides the best look babe in HS would never date you with those hubcaps on!

That's the whole idea...don't attract any undue attention...look "stock" (or at least close to stock) and carry a low e.t.

Besides, I found those "best-looking babes" back in HS were waaay more trouble than they were worth. Sort'a like chrome...looks nice, but it's a pain to maintain.

To each their own.

Thats right Geoff! Only thing missing is a set of wheels. That was usually the FIRST thing to get changed. Everybody asked for a set of mags for Christmas or their birthday. GTO-DON has the wheels Tommy needs!

[/ QUOTE ]

How about we take up a collection for a new set of old wheels ...I will put a plaque inside the trunk lid (next to the hotrod stickers) of all those who contribute...kind of a "wall of shame"...already called Donnie and he will submit photos of suitable choices for your approval, prior to purchase. This should help bring us closer...and in a truly meaningful way

Thanks in advance for your support
