It looks similar to trunk spatter paint. Perhaps clear and blue? Just a wild thought.

It almost looks like burlap was laid over it and then sprayed?? And then when the PN was pressed in it created that spatter look. Isn't there anyone on this site that can shed some light on how they painted them? I just picked up another back half this Saturday that had no rips or tears and it was the same way.
