Ok, so how many got the twin bolt-on flush fit twin rear spoilers? I have never seen that option. But that hood scoop looks pretty cool on there!

None - that we know of. I have an old ad for the spoiler option, it was a Cal-Custom item(s). They are silly looking, so I'm glad none of the Deuces received them.
Also, none of the deuces received the hood scoop option that we are aware of, only the brochure car - which was not a deuce. We know that at least one deuce was ordered with the hood scoop option, but when he got his deuce it was a dealer trxfr and there was no hood scoop.

Sad news from CR. That spirit of America, and a 73 nova, not pictured owned by Jeff Grady, the club president were under water. I got this info 2nd hand, but believe it to be true.
I don't think the comparisons calling this the Iowa Katrina are exagerated. 400 city blocks were under water up there. As hard is it is to imagine, it could have been worse had both the state, and local authorities not worked so well together.By the time FEMA got to the affected areas, the locals had everthing moving ahead as best as possible including immediate mobilization of the national guard. Unfortunatly, they're forcasting mare rain starting Thursday, with heavy storms coming in the 1st of next week. Lets hope they're wrong. |

We had bad flooding in '93 and they're now predicting higher levels this year for many of the same areas along the Mississippi River. Sandbagging efforts are already beginning to fail.
Sad news about the cars but we're much more concerned for the 'friends' affected by this.

I havn't heard from the Alberts, but I think they should be ok. The farther South you get, the worse it gets as all the rivers flow into the Mississippi.Levees are giving way pretty bad South of the Quad cities. It could be worse than 93 by the time it gets to you Mr Cumby.
