Brent, for some reason I am thinking A&amp;A, and probably late 70's. I only say this with memory of seeing ads for it in old magazines, but I could be way off. </div></div>

Yes, they came out in 1974-1975ish and were made by just about every hood scoop company in just about every height. Snorkle scoops were very popular back in the day. </div></div>

This isn't a very good picture of the scoop itself but it's an A-A that I purchased in '70. It was a bolt-on. They were offered in bolt-on or mold-on. I still have the hood hanging in the garage and the Cragars &amp; slicks tucked away in the dark.

Thanks for the compliments! Matt, it wasn't a cage, just a custom made hoop bar with a rear angle brace. I had it installed just to meet NHRA tech. It also had a head rest as per the rules back then. With a stock L-78 in it (3960lbs with 5gals of gas on a 10.00lbs/CuIn class break) it ran a best of 13.15 @ 107. I never did get a good run on it with the open chamber tunnel ram motor. It was just waaaaay too much power for the trans and the slicks became worthless.

Bruce, I think I moved the photos around in my Photobucket account so they may not show up anymore.
