Moving onto the final round of things, it's undercoating time!!!!! Sprayed in the wheel wells, this black, gunky, tar-like substance is exactly what you need to make all that cool detail work disappear right before your eyes! Freshly restored springs? SO LONG!!! New fuel lines? Sa-yo-freakin'-nara~~~!!!! Nice neat appearance! Peace-OUT!!! But, it's how it was from the factory on these cars. Now, I was maybe a little neater, but like a Port-a-Potty falling off a flatbed, that crap went all over the place!!!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here's the befores above. I did tape off the rockers a bit, and the wheel well jambs too. This stuff does go all over the place, but with the frame of mind in place (that of a line worker that just needed to get the well sprayed an onto the next one), I picked up the gun and Shutz'ed like a big-dawg!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And Voila! Not real sure why that word starts with a V but you pronounce it with a W, but regardless.......VOILA!!!!! Cheers |

Thanks, Men! That's SEM's Rock-It bedliner kit. It is really easy to use, but no, not a spray can. But you can apply it Bill, even if you have a small compressor.... you can do it! Comes with its own gun. I usually use the Raptor kit from U-Pol and get it from TP Tools. Both work the same. Add the hardener, shake the can for two minutes, insert the gun, spray away. Vary the pressure to get the look you're after.

Dave is now sipping a few beers trying to get over spraying the rust proofing over the beautiful resto work. Looks good Dave.
