The letter "C" makes it a M22......if the internal gears haven't been changed.

The tag on the side cover has numbers on it. That will be helpful to know what trans you have.

11= 11th day
C= rock crusher M-22, 10 tooth input, 27 tooth output shaft.

The tag says 9503 and seems like 13 backwards at the end, my phone died as I cleaned the tag for good pictures:-(

Is the stamp A38342 part of a VIN from the car it came from? Not enough digits?

Is A Atlanta? Did this come out of a Chevelle?
