Re: yenko deuce
Hey folks lets keep only 1 post on the car going. The other 2 only had links to the car and since this one had the most input/talk about the car I kept it alive.
Good luck with the sale Pat, and hope the new owner will take care of it as it should be.

Re: yenko deuce
The same bidder bought a dirt bike via an eBay auction that ended on July 4. Auction details are still available here. Perhaps you can contact the seller of the bike via the "Ask seller a question" link on the auction page, for a reference check a name and address.

Re: yenko deuce
Another one. I saw a private feedback bidder the other day. I still can't believe it's even an option. How many negatives does it take to get kicked off now? It used to be three. A year or two ago I saw someone with 7 (seven) negatives. Just a few day's ago I saw someone with 14 (yes, Fourteen!) negatives and 8 (eight) neutrals. Now he/she has 260 positives and a 94.9% rating, but is that good? I didn't bid on the item because of all the negatives. I can post the ID if you like.

Re: yenko deuce
You can't judge feedback solely on negative feedback. I have some negatives and they have all come from the cheapest items I have sold, from bidders that expect much more than the description stated; or retaliation for a negative left to a seller by myself. If a seller(me) says specifically chrome is majorly pitted and will need serious rechroming work and the winning bidder expects it to polish up, there is not much the seller can do but offer a refund. But I refuse to pay return shipping on an item like that which results in a negative on a $5-$10 part. Also, if I am the buyer and a seller majorly misrepresents an item, then will not respond to contacts to make things right, I will leave a negative. This usually results in a negative from the seller as retalation since he/she thinks its OK to screw people. Feedback should definitely not be private, but it should be taken with a grain of salt at times.

Re: yenko deuce
Right. I definitely understand and agree. I try to follow that reasoning when the situation arises. This particular case the 14 negatives and 8 neutrals were all within the past 3-4 months (heavier in the past 2) of the ID's 5 month existence.

Re: yenko deuce
Looks like he bailed, went from 45 bids down to 38. New high bidder - get 'er done!!
Just a note Pat, there are 7 (rather than 4) documented Huggar Orange Yenko Deuce Novas, and the suspension package is F41 (rather than F40).
