Nice cabin Dave!

Cute little snowmen I assume they were buried by the additional four feet of snow?

Yep, I think the snowmen are in the deep freeze, cant go out the back door, the snow falling off the roof has it buried. Don't know who made the snowmen, they were there when I came up a month ago.

Not much to do when you're stuck in a hotel near Baltimore.
The rental car is under that pile of snow! There's actually a Harley buried in snow to the right!

Here the hotel guests were making the best of things!

I'll be heading home to the rain and mudslides in a few days!

I don't know how much we got but it was higher than the intake on my snowblower. I'm ready to go back to work for some rest!

Late Saturday morning, already 18" on the ground....

We started digging out around 4PM on Saturday afternoon. My snow blower broke about 2 hours into digging out. So my son and I had to dig out the old fashion way.

We finished digging out today. And when we finished, I found the snow blower manual, read it, found that there are 2 belts inside the auger assembly. I removed the 6 10MM bolts and found one of the belts came off the pulley. After taking about 5 minutes to fix it and put the cover back on, it was back up and running. Maybe I should look into a deep groove pulley upgrade.

Guess I should have tried to fix it Saturday. I HATE winter!
